“Maintaining a healthy work–life balance is very important to me. Outside of my clinical work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two children. As a family, we’re actively involved in a variety of sports and clubs, and we all enjoy both taking part in activities and supporting one another. We also love to travel together and make memories through new experiences. I volunteer as a Welfare Officer at a local children’s gymnastics club, a role I value for the opportunity it gives me to support young people in my local community in a different context. Staying active is a key part of my identity, and I am passionate about the benefits of exercise for both physical and mental wellbeing. A personal highlight for me this year was climbing Snowdon. I have also recently qualified for the HYROX World Championships for the fourth consecutive year and look forward to representing Great Britain in Sweden later this year.”
